The night it recreates
The show is created and directed by John Mueller and features performers drawn from the Broadway hit “Million Dollar Quartet,” the stage show built around that same 1956 session. What audiences get is a concert built from the songs that defined early rock and country: “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “I Walk the Line,” and “Ring of Fire.” It is part history lesson, part full-band rock show, and entirely crowd-pleasing.
