Nathan Chester and The Old Souls Motown Revival at the Greenville Municipal Auditorium

Nathan Chester and The Old Souls are a Motown and soul revue, a night of the classic hits that defined 1960s Detroit and the soul era beyond it. They play the Greenville Municipal Auditorium on Friday, January 15, 2027, at 7:30 PM, as part of the venue's steady touring calendar. Greenville sits about an hour southwest of the property.

The show

A Motown revival lives and dies on its band, and the Old Souls bring horns, organ, and a tight rhythm section to the songs that filled dance floors generations ago. Expect the familiar deep catalog of the era, delivered with a live energy no playlist can match. It is a warm, crowd-friendly show in the middle of January, the kind of night that makes a cold East Texas winter feel a little shorter.

The venue

The Greenville Municipal Auditorium is a historic theater that books a steady mix of tributes, touring music, and community productions through its "Showtime at the GMA" series. It sits in downtown Greenville with convenient parking, and it has become a reliable destination for audiences across Northeast Texas. A soul revue in a mid-century room is a natural pairing.

Getting there from the property

Greenville is about an hour from 1786 County Road 1070 down US-69 and I-30. It is a longer drive than the Mount Pleasant and Mount Vernon options, but a special one: a full Motown revue in a historic theater is worth the trip, and the drive is a straight shot through classic East Texas landscape.
