Titus County Cares Claybuster Dinner and Auction

The Titus County Cares Claybuster is the nonprofit's signature fall fundraiser, pairing an evening dinner and auction with a clay-target shooting competition held on a separate day. The event supports Titus County Cares, the Mount Pleasant nonprofit that runs the county's food pantry along with programs like Food4Kids, Cares4Kids, and literacy initiatives for families across Northeast Texas.

The evening

The dinner and auction is the social side of the Claybuster, a chance for the community to gather, bid on auction items, and hear directly about the work the pantry and family programs do year round. Recent editions have been held at the Mid America Flight Museum on Mike Hall Parkway, a fitting backdrop for a night that mixes hospitality with a good cause.

The shoot

The companion Titus County Claybuster Shoot follows on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with five-man teams competing on the clay course while sponsors and supporters cheer them on. Participants can sign up for the dinner, the shoot, or both, and every dollar raised stays in Titus County through the pantry and its family programs.

The drive from the property

County Road 1070 to Mount Pleasant is about ten minutes on paved roads. For anyone scouting the 8 acres, an evening at the Claybuster is a direct look at how this county takes care of its own, the kind of community character that makes a rural property here feel like home before the ink dries.
