Mount Pleasant's live music scene runs deeper than the county fair and the concert halls. MP Paradise Events Center, a new events venue at 2046 US 67 on the edge of town, opened in 2026 and spent its first year booking the Regional Mexican circuit: norteño, conjunto, and sax-driven bands that tour the same East Texas and North Texas corridors the bigger cities host. Its first concerts started in February and ran through August, and every one of those 2026 dates has now passed. The list below is kept on the journal as a record of that first season.

A new live music room in Titus County

The venue celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting in March 2026, several shows into its calendar, and the space is built for concerts rather than adapted to them: a dedicated event center with room for a full touring production. For a county the size of Titus, a venue that regularly books touring Mexican acts is a meaningful addition, one more reason the drive home from a night out in Mount Pleasant rarely has to go far.

Why it matters on County Road 1070

A new concert venue says more about a town than ticket sales. It means promoters trust the market, the workforce, and the weekend traffic enough to route a show through it, and it means residents do not have to drive an hour every time they want a real concert night. MP Paradise is a ten-minute drive from the property, on the US 67 side of Mount Pleasant, easy to reach and easy to leave, which is exactly how small-town live music should work.
